I am a clinical research scientist working across an epilepsy surgery program and a neuromodulation lab.
My research centres on temporal interference (TI) stimulation, a technique that uses interfering electric fields applied at the scalp to reach structures deep in the brain without surgery. I study it in epilepsy patients undergoing intracranial monitoring. Because these patients already have electrodes placed directly in the brain for clinical seizure localisation, they offer a rare opportunity to measure what noninvasive stimulation actually does at the level of individual circuits, rather than inferring it from models or scalp recordings.
The work spans three connected areas. The first is neuropsychological task development: designing and validating the cognitive tasks that reveal whether stimulation changes memory, language, or executive function. The second is intracranial electrophysiology, analysing iEEG, ECoG, and SEEG recordings in Python and MATLAB. The third is the engineering underneath both — importing and handling large electrophysiology datasets, and building pipelines for filtering, referencing, and spectral analysis.
I started this work in 2022, after completing a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience at the University of Alabama. My work has contributed to publications in Brain Stimulation, Epilepsy & Behavior Reports, and Epilepsy Research, including the first human study to show that temporal interference stimulation suppresses epileptic biomarkers in the hippocampus.
Alongside the clinical research, I build experimental platforms, including an ongoing project porting a multimodal learning task into virtual reality with integrated biosensing.

Beyond the lab
Outside the lab my interests run toward philosophy of mind and consciousness research, foundational physics and information theory, longevity science, self-hosted computing infrastructure, and audio software development. Some of that ends up in the writing section rather than staying a list. I am based in Atlanta, Georgia.
